COS-KF776SS Faucet Troubleshooting

There is leakage under the handle. The locking nut may have come loose. Tighten the locking nut: Remove the small, chrome-colored cap with red & blue (hot/cold) dots. Remove the lever by loosening the set screw inside the hole with a hex wrench. Tighten the locking nut. Replace the lever and tighten the set screw. Replace the hot & cold indicator cap. The water will not shut off completely. The cartridge needs to be replaced. Remove the small, chrome-colored cap with red & blue (hot/cold) dots. Remove the lever by loosening the set screw inside the hole with a hex wrench. Remove the locking nut and replace the cartridge. The faucet is leaking between the sprayer head and hose. The sprayer head may be loose, or the washer is not seated correctly in the hose connection. Tighten the sprayer head until snug. Make sure the washer is seated correctly.

There is leakage under the base. The hot, cold, or sprayer hoses are not tightened properly. Shut off the water supply to the faucet. Check that the hose connections are properly sealed. Tighten the hose connections. Turn the water back on. The hot, cold, or sprayer hose is damaged. Replace the damaged hose. The rubber o-ring(s) are missing or damaged. Replace the rubber o-ring(s). If the above steps do not fix the leak, contact support or a qualified technician for further troubleshooting and diagnosis. The faucet base is not secure. The mounting nut is loose. Shut off the water supply to the faucet.  Tighten the brass mounting screw below the faucet base. The faucet’s base threading is stripped. Replace the faucet base.
