Spicy Korean Chicken Stir-Fry Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced scallions
  • 2 tbsp. gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • Cooked white rice (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  5. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet along with the sauce, tossing everything together until well combined.
  6. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until everything is heated through.
  7. Serve the spicy Korean chicken stir-fry over white rice.
