Flavorful Egg Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (such as peas, carrots, and corn)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until fragrant.
  3. Add the frozen mixed vegetables to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
  4. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the beaten eggs to the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked through.
  5. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined.
  6. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.
  7. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the rice is heated through.
