Lemon Garlic Shrimp Linguine Recipe

  • 8 oz. linguine pasta
  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish


  1. Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add the white wine and lemon juice, and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is slightly reduced.
  6. Add the butter and stir until melted and incorporated into the sauce.
  7. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the lemon garlic sauce.
  8. Serve the shrimp and sauce over the cooked linguine pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley.
