One-Pot Creamy Pasta with Shrimp and Broccoli for a Comforting Dinner

Try this one-pot creamy pasta with shrimp and broccoli, which is not only delicious but also incredibly convenient. The dish is cooked in a single pot, so there’s minimal cleanup, and the creamy sauce and tender shrimp make for a meal that’s both indulgent and comforting.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the chicken broth and heavy cream to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp and broccoli to the pot and cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through and the broccoli is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked linguine and Parmesan cheese to the pot and stir to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
