Samosa Chaat Recipe
Samosa Chaat Recipe – this chaat combines crispy samosas with tangy chutneys, creamy yogurt, and an array of aromatic spices.
Ingredients:
- 4 medium-sized samosas, homemade or store-bought
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas (chana)
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
- 1/4 cup green chutney (coriander and mint chutney)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Sev (crispy chickpea flour noodles) for garnish
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Begin by preparing the samosas. If using store-bought samosas, heat them according to the package instructions until crispy.
- Once the samosas are ready, place them on a serving plate or bowl.
- Top the samosas with boiled chickpeas, finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green chili (if using), and fresh coriander leaves.
- Drizzle the tamarind chutney and green chutney over the samosas and toppings, according to your taste preference.
- In a small bowl, whisk the plain yogurt until smooth. Spoon the yogurt over the samosas and toppings.
- Sprinkle chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, and red chili powder over the chaat for added flavor.
