Deliciously Simple Creamy Tomato Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of whole peeled tomatoes (28 ounces)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until they’re softened and lightly browned.
  2. Pour in the can of whole peeled tomatoes, including the juice. Break the tomatoes up with a wooden spoon and stir well.
