Easy Banana Bread Recipe

A classic and easy way to use up ripe bananas and make a delicious snack or breakfast bread. It’s perfect for kids who love sweet treats and baking!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup of melted butter or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5 inch (23×13 cm) loaf pan with butter or oil.
  3. Peel the bananas and mash them in a bowl with a fork.
  4. Add the melted butter or vegetable oil to the mashed bananas and stir well.
  5. Add the baking soda and salt to the banana mixture and stir well.
  6. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and stir well.
  7. Add the flour to the banana mixture and stir until just combined.
  8. Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
  10. Use oven mitts to remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes.
  11. Slice and serve your delicious Banana Bread!
