Spicy Keema Recipe

Keema is a delicious and spicy Indian dish that is popular across the country. Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger paste and sauté for a minute.
  4. Add the ground meat and sauté until browned and cooked through.
  5. Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, and red chili powder, and stir to combine.
  6. Add the tomato paste and mix well.
  7. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the Keema simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot with warm naan bread or basmati rice.
