A: We currently manufacture griddle and grill attachments for the following models: S9-6, COS-DFR486G, and COS-EPGR486G. These attachments are not compatible with any of our other model numbers. You may be able to locate a compatible aftermarket griddle or grill attachment by locating one with the same measurements as the cast iron grates included with your unit.

Q: What type of range hood should I use with Cosmo cooktops/ovens?

A: An over the range hood should be used with this range at a distance of 24” to 36” from the cooktop to the bottom of the range hood. All local codes and regulations should be followed.

Q: Are Cosmo brand appliances compatible with a downdraft ventilation system?

A: Our units are not compatible with downdraft ventilation systems.

Q: I smell gas when my unit is not in use.

A: Quit use of the product immediately, and turn the gas off to the unit using the unit’s manual shut-off valve located on the gas supply line. Contact your gas supplier immediately, or the fire department if the gas supplier is unavailable.

Q: Do you offer an extended warranty?

A: Cosmo does not currently offer an extended warranty for any of our products. We recommend reaching out to the retailer where you purchased your item, as many extended warranties are provided and fulfilled through the retailer.

Q: Where can I find the model and serial number of my unit?

A: The model and serial numbers can be found in one of three places: on the inside of the oven door jamb, on the inside of the oven door itself, or on the rear of the unit on the manufacturing sticker. We recommend writing this information down so you have it for easy reference.

Q: Can I convert my range or cooktop to liquid propane gas (LP gas)?

A: All of our gas cooktops and ovens can be converted to LP gas with the use of an appropriate LP conversion kit. All conversion kits can be found online at www.cosmoappliances.com/product-category/parts-and-accessories

Q: Why is the food cooking unevenly in my Cosmo oven?

A: This can be due to many factors such as the type and quantity of food being cooked, whether or not convection mode is being used, where the food is placed in the oven, whether or not the food is being rotated during cooking, etc. We recommend trying to experiment with different foods and methods of cooking as you become accustomed to your new Cosmo oven.
