COS-63ISS75 Controls Troubleshooting

  1. The controls are not responding, only respond sometimes, or are responding but will not turn on the fan or lights.
    1. Check that the unit is plugged into a grounded outlet and that the outlet has been tested for a 120V, 60Hz power source.
    2. Reset the control panels:
      1. Unplug the unit.
      2. Remove the baffle filters and set them aside.
      3. Unplug and remove the lights by disconnecting their power cord and pushing from behind.
      4. Locate and remove the screws found behind the panels housing the lights. Set these aside.
      5. Remove the lighting panels.
      6. Locate the control wiring directly behind each control panel.
      7. Unplug the controls and wait 5 minutes.
      8. Reconnect each control panel.
      9. Reinstall the lighting panel, screws, and lights.
      10. Plug the unit back in. 
      11. If the controls are still not responding, contact support for replacement parts such as the control panel, circuit board, or wiring.
  2. The clock does not match on each side of the range hood.
    1. Check that the unit is plugged into a grounded outlet and that the outlet has been tested for a 120V, 60Hz power source.
    2. Reset the control panels:
      1. Unplug the unit.
      2. Remove the baffle filters and set them aside.
      3. Unplug and remove the lights by disconnecting their power cord and pushing from behind.
      4. Locate and remove the screws found behind the panels housing the lights. Set these aside.
      5. Remove the lighting panels.
      6. Locate the control wiring directly behind each control panel.
      7. Unplug the controls and wait 5 minutes.
      8. Reconnect each control panel.

      11. If the controls are still not responding, contact support for replacement parts such as the control panel, circuit board, or wiring.
  3. The remote is not working (if applicable):
    1. Check that the unit is plugged into a grounded outlet and that the outlet has been tested for a 120V, 60Hz power source.
    2. Check that the unit powers on by pressing the display and cycling through each control.
    3. Replace the remote’s battery.
    4. If the remote still does not function, contact support for a replacement.
